Music Ministry
Our Music Ministry is widely praised, as is our Minister of Music, Cherrie Dennis Baldon who is highly respected for her spiritual gifts and since the age of 12 has served the congregation and the community well, along with other skilled musicians over the years, some of who she has mentored, and she continues to share outstanding spiritual giftedness as a musician and vocalist to communicate God’s truth to glorify Him and inspire others. There are choirs and other opportunities to serve the Lord with gladness through a variety of art forms: Kings Kids, Teens of Light, Young Adults, Mighty Men, Inspirational Choir and more. Practices are held on Saturdays and other times as needed.

Ushers
Provide hospitality by serving on an Usher Board. We’ve been blessed to have outstanding usher boards throughout our history. Ushers volunteer to provide assistance with seating, during offering periods, keeping order, and distributing bulletins, and to set the tone for a welcoming atmosphere. Our highly commended, responsive and caring Usher Boards are led with excellence by Deborah Autry- she and others have led and inspired many ushers throughout the years, longtime usher Teresa Smith is a descendant of the late Deacon Marshall and Mrs. Roxie Daniels, 2 of our original ushers from the 1940’s.
