In 1945, Saint James Missionary Baptist Church of Wichita, Kansas was established to teach and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ with clarity and sound doctrine based upon the Holy Bible and to share the gospel with others, to inspire them to respond in faith. Saint James anticipates celebrating our 80th church anniversary in November 2025.
Find us in the Heart of the City
We are centrally located in the Northeast heart of Wichita, Kansas. Since 1962, Wichita has been named an All-American City five times. Although church facilities have been built, remodeled, or expanded throughout our history, and ample properties have been acquired to expand over past years as well as in anticipation of future years. We are blessed and proud to remain in the same vicinity where the church was first formed to challenge unbelievers to faith and all believers to greater faith, to become devoted and mature followers of Christ. The church is easily accessible…Our doors are open to all, regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey.
